    The Hanauers in Kyiv

We decided to move to Kyiv last March, when we came with a short-term mission team from Lipscomb. We were to graduate in May, and had no idea what we were going to do afterwards. The internship opportunity was given to us, and it did not take us long to make the decision together to live and work here for one year.

It is important for you to know that we are not doing anything that we think is special. However, we do think that our opportunities to live and work in Ukraine are changing us each day. Life in Kyiv can be much different than life in the U.S. But we have done our best of fit in with the culture and make a positive impact on the lives of those with whom we come in contact. Our goal here is simply to learn and toencourage the Christians and missionaries that live here.

This webpage is for you to find out more information about who we are and what we are doing. We will attempt to keep it as current as possible. Here you will find our archived newsletters and various picture galleries from our adventures in Ukraine. Feel free to contact us with any questions or comments you have about the site.
